Quilt Patterns from the Past
If you're a quilter who's young at heart, you'll have a great time
revisiting the past with my exclusive American Schoolgirl Club, beginning this June, featuring
monthly patterns for small quilts inspired by antique doll quilts from the past.
(It's ok to sign up after
June, you will still receive all 6 patterns.)

Everybody loves
simple little doll quilts, and nobody loves making them more than I do. Quilters have always been intrigued by antique quilts
and some of the doll quilts from the past especially tug at our heartstrings. The American Schoolgirl Club is a 6-month
club, bringing you one NEW little quilt pattern each month for six months plus photos, tips and historical information
on quilting in the past.
Whether you're a beginning quilter or an experienced one, you'll have
fun making these darling quilts using simple blocks and inspiring patterns. Not one of the patterns has ever been published
in any of my books before--these are all NEW doll quilt patterns, using traditional blocks that have been favorites for centuries,
resembling those vintage doll quilts we love so much. I know you'll enjoy making them as much as I've loved designing
them.
Club will begin in June 2010
with
Pattern # 1
Eliza Jane's Nine-patch Doll Quilt
Every
month after that, for six months, you'll receive another pattern in the mail. Some of the patterns include a small
Medallion quilt with a simple applique center, a Scrappy Baskets quilt, a little Signature quilt and an "Almost Crazy"
quilt--all very scrappy and perfect for using up those reproduction prints we all love.
