Patterns

Quilting has played a part in our country's heritage for centuries. Two hundred years ago, young girls often learned to quilt by making small quilts for their dolls. Learn the art of quilting today by starting small. Make your own little keepsake quilt for a special doll, to hang on a wall or give to a friend. Many of my patterns are great for beginners, but even experienced quilters will have fun making these quick  little projects.

[Please be patient with your order. I've been hospitalized recently and right now it is taking me a little while to  catch up on orders placed within the last several weeks. I go to the Post Office on a regular basis but often only make it there once a week. Sometimes the pattern you ordered may be out of stock and I have to get more printed up at the printer. All of this takes time and I appreciate your patience. Expect 2-3 weeks for delivery unless you're lucky and everything goes well the day you ordered!]

Bits 'n Pieces Bag of Scraps

I love scrappy little quilts. The more scraps the better I always say. When  I first started quilting and didn't have a lot of leftover fabrics--I was making small quilts, remember-- I used to visit a shop that offered small bags of fabric scraps. These were great for making my small quilts. I went there often to make sure my scrap basket was always filled with a great assortment. They laughingly called me the "scrap lady" but I made some of my favorite quilts from those little scraps.

If you're new to quilting and you just haven't had a chance to build up your scrap collection yet, here's a great opportunity to have this assortment of some of my favorite prints to add to your collection. Perfect for making those scrappy little quilts we all love. 30 squares in all. Some are 5" x 5" squares, some 4" x 4" but still handy for making small quilts with lots of different prints.

Assorted scraps in a bag, mostly 19th century reproductions                   $5.00
